From the Alpe Scaredi in the Parco Nazionale della Val Grande, Northern Italy, I witnessed the Monte Rosa take its name-colour, pink, slowly from the summit down along the glaciers of the East Face, as the sun rised higher and higher.

I was visiting the Animal Conservation Park “La Torbiera” near Novara, Italy. Apart from numerous birds, cats and many different species of mammals, there are some splendind bogs that host families of otters. I was on a 3-day trek around the rocky Monviso in the Alpi Cozie, Italy. One morning, unzipping my tent I saw this immense cloud blanket, soft and creamy. I prepared my camera to capture the sun in the exact moment it emerged from his sleep.

The Sound of Kerrera is a small strip of water that divides (or unites?) the Kerrera Island and the Scottish mainland near the beautiful town of Oban. In summer the sun lingers into the night hours and a deep peace settles over the green coast.

Ely, a small and beautiful town nearby Cambridge, sports one of the best cathedral in the UK. Unfortunately, the entrance costs 4 quids and for this reason i saw it only from the outside.
